ReDenim was created by four high school students who saw an opportunity to rethink waste. The denim industry consumes nearly 4–5 trillion gallons of water each year, with a single pair of jeans requiring approximately 3,800 liters of water to produce—that's roughly 26 bathtubs. Yet despite the enormous resources behind every pair, millions of jeans are discarded annually and sent to landfills long before the end of their usable life.
